These pins you will enjoy immensely are not licensed, created or endorsed by Disney, but are the loving fan art of a Disney loving creative human. As such, they cannot be traded with Disney Cast Members in Disney theme parks.
PURCHASES: When making a purchase, we would greatly appreciate your leaving your IG handle in the notes section right before you pay. This helps us keep a personal connection with those who make this possible. No worries, we won't share your info or SPAM you ever. That's just rude.
PRE-SALES: We are moving away from pre-sales in 2021. But, in case you currently have a pre-sale woth us, when you purchase a pin marked pre-sale, that pin is in production so you get it at a price below what the in-hand price will be, AND it will be guaranteed Standard Grade (see below). Pin production time can vary, and while we strive to have a quick turn around (6 - 8 weeks), sometimes delays can make it take up to 8 months. The wait is always worth it. PLEASE NOTE: If you are purchasing an in-hand pin in the same order as your pre-sale, (to get discounted shipping rate), we will ship your pins together after the Pre-sale pin arrives. If you would like your pins shipped separately, please do separate orders to have them ship on their own.
PRODUCTION UPDATES: Production update pictures are regularly posted on our IG story as we receive them from the manufacturer.

PIN GRADING: A proper pin must go through an exam and be graded prior to going out into the world. All pins are handmade and vary, therefore like humans, no pin is completely flawless. All pins go through an overall assessment as a batch. Once it's decided that the batch of pins is okay to put in the shop, the entire set of pins is then graded on a curve. The best of the best are considered standard grade. NOTE: If an entire order of pins is not quite up to Standard Grade level, but is still sellable, the entire lot of pins price is reduced to reflect the quality. The next level is B grade and so on. Here is my scale:
Standard Grade: There's no such thing as a flawless pin. Standard grade means the pin is free of major defects such as pin pricks, low filled enamel, or color fill errors. There may be 1-2 minor flaws, a slight scratch, small plating issue and varying enamel depths. (undulations in the enamel surface are normal and must be severe enough to be downgraded to B grade.) Most flaws in Standard Grade pins can only be seen in certain angles. The exception to this grading rule is when it comes to grading pins with very intricate screen printing. Please understand that screen printing within very complicated enamel shapes can be tricky for the factory. All the processes prior to screen printing, such as filling enamel, and especially grinding and buffing will effect the screen printing process. Sometimes they just cant be as accurate as you hope. Standard Grade flaws usually can't be seen when looking straight at the pin.
B Grade: Pin may have no more than 3-4 small defects such as minor scratches, pin pricks, air bubbles, low enamel, etc. However, these will typically never be on the face of the character.
C Grade: These may have more noticeable flaws. We typically do not have many of these, as we will have the manufacture remake the pins if there are more than a few.
SHIPPING: All orders will be shipped using USPS First Class Mail with tracking. Please note if you are buying pins that are pre-sale and combining shipping with in hand pins, we will ship them together when the pre-sale pin arrives. If you desire to have them shipped separately, you will need to do separate orders and pay regular shipping for each shipment. Archimedes is not responsible for an item once USPS has accepted the package.

Please be sure before you buy, as pins (pre-sale and in-hand) are non-refundable. Refunds only issued in the event of a catastrophic manufacturing issue which would make us unable to receive the pins. We pay out of pocket for all pin production. Rest assured, your payment resides in a savings until your pin is shipped to you, in case a need for refund arises.
